Reflexology works on the principle that every organ and system of the body has a corresponding point or reflex in the feet and hands.

I will use pressure to massage each of the points in the toes, feet and ankles, treating all of the systems of the body and encouraging balance.

I will also work on important acupressure points in order to send energy around the body, clearing any blockage that may lead to imbalance or disease.

Having trained with Hagar Basis (of  the Reflexology Academy in London),  I also offer Reflexology for Women’s Health  this focuses on acupressure points and areas of the foot and ankle that relate to all the hormonal changes women go through, whether it be the menopause, difficult periods, trying to conceive or even at 39 weeks of pregnancy to help with labour

What to expect from reflexology

Reflexology is a Therapy that is suitable for any age. It is a unique treatment in the health field. Its purpose is not to diagnose any specific medical disorder, but to promote better health and well being.

Reflexology is an individual treatment tailored to you. All areas of the foot are worked, but particular attention is given to any imbalanced areas.This technique improves blood lymph and nerve circulation, in turn the body relaxes, and the organs and glands are balanced. 

The skilled application of these precise techniques treats the whole person, stimulating the body’s own healing potential.

After treatment clients usually feel wonderfully relaxed and less tense (many people fall asleep during treatment). You may feel further positive changes, such as, sleeping better and an improved mood and sense of wellbeing.
Think of it as an MOT for your body and mind!

A 60 minute treament begins with a foot cleanse and finishes with a relaxing foot massage.
